This page explains how Katyb Yoga (“I”, “me”) looks after the personal information you share with me through this website. I only ask for what I need, and I never sell your details.
Who I am
Katyb Yoga is run by Katy, a yoga teacher. You can contact me at katybroomfield@yahoo.co.uk.
What I collect
When you use the enquiry form I collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), what you are interested in and your message. The website also records your IP address with your enquiry to help prevent spam. If you email me directly, I will have the details in your email.
Why I use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange classes, workshops, retreats or private sessions you ask about.
- To keep in touch with you about similar classes, workshops and retreats that may interest you. You can ask me to stop at any time and I will, straight away.
My lawful basis for this is legitimate interests: running my yoga business and replying to people who get in touch.
How long I keep it
I keep your details for as long as they are useful for staying in touch about my classes, workshops and retreats, unless you ask me not to. I will check my contacts from time to time and remove anyone who is no longer in touch.
Who sees it
Your details are seen by me. They are stored and processed by the services that run this website and my email: my website host (Hostinger), the Fluent Forms plugin that powers the enquiry form, Cloudflare Turnstile (which checks that form users are human) and my email provider. I do not sell or share your details with anyone else.
Cookies and other services
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The Cloudflare Turnstile spam check on the enquiry form may set a small technical cookie, and the site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is shared with Google when a page loads. If I add other tools in future, I will update this page.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or object to me using it – including for keeping in touch. Just email me at the address above. If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
